It’s 11pm, and I’m supposed to be in bed now, because these past three days I was getting up very early, at 5:45 am. (I’ll tell you the reason in another post). I am really tired by now but my mind has different plans than the ones my body has. Anyway, today Wednesday I had one of my maestría classes, because I don’t know if I told you before that I am currently studying a Master in Education at IIEDUG. This is my last semester and I’m kind of happy because of that because in one hand, I’m about to finish with this project in my life, but on the other hand, I will have to start writing my thesis project. Anyhow, I think I will take a one-year break after December.
Today was a busy day for me because as I mentioned before I got up at 5:45 am and I had to work, then to school, and then to do homework. This is one of the reasons that I don’t like giving homework to my students, because I know that you have other important things to do. I like the experience of being a teacher and a student at the same time because I can understand my students’ attitudes a bit more. For example, when they show up late, or leave the class early, I understand that, and I firmly believe that each one of us is responsible for their own knowledge.
To be honest with you I have to tell you that I feel very comfortable working with you my dear students and that I try to understand your attitudes as much as I can. I believe you are very intelligent and that you are improving your English very fast. Well, at least that is the impression I get from you.
Ok now, why don’t you answer me one or some of the following questions in a lengthy paragraph?
- How do you feel in this English class?
- Tell me about your favorite subject in your current school?
- Do you think working and studying at the same time is a bad idea?
- What are the advantages and disadvantages of working and studying at the same time?
- What is your busiest day of the week, and what do you do to survive it?
- Tell me about a current project in your life.
