For your information, we are having our second midterm this coming Monday, October 29th at 2:30 pm. Again, it will be in pairs, and some of you probably will have to work with a new coach or trainee. The units we will cover on the exam will be from 11 to 20.

Remembering primary school always makes me happy and also makes me feel nostalgic about those old days when I had nothing to worry about but going to classes and play soccer with my friends. I remember that I had to wear a uniform, and I also remember that when I was in Third grade a teacher asked me to participate in a poetry contest and I had to practice every afternoon after school, so I had to go to her house and spent three hours, in the end it was good, because I won the first place in that contest, of course they gave me a trophy and my parents bought me my first watch. Later, I participated in two others where I won second place. I was in a public school, and I never spoke any foreign languages until junior high school.

Anyway, I am pretty sure you have had a great experience, and that it brings you a lot of memories when you were in primary school, but I you  can’t remember anything in specific here are some questions. Feel free to answer at least five of these questions:
1.    How many hours a day did you have to be in school?
2.    Did your teachers make you do a lot of homework?
3.    Were you allowed to wear any kind of clothes?
4.    What foreign languages did you have to learn?
5.    Were you allowed to choose which sports you played?
6.    At what age were you allowed to choose the subjects you studied?
7.    Were you allowed to choose the subjects you studied?
8.    Were you allowed to call their teachers by their first names?
9.    If you did something wrong, how were you punished?
10.    What kind of exams did you have to take?
11.    Were you allowed to talk to other students during classes?
12.    Was there anything else they made you do that you didn’t like?
