For your information, we are having our second midterm this coming Monday, October 29th at 2:30 pm. Again, it will be in pairs, and some of you probably will have to work with a new coach or trainee. The units we will cover on the exam will be from 11 to 20.

Well, probably all of you are having exams these days. First of all let me tell you all: Good Luck! This post won’t be too long, because I want you to concentrate in your other exams.

This time I’m going to tell you an anecdote I lived when i was a student in Junior High-School. This happened more than ten years ago. I was studying in the afternoons. One day, one of my classmates arrived with the mathematics key in his hand. I mean, he stole one of the exams, answered it, (with help from someone else, of course). I remember he said: I’ve got the exam answers, but please, don’t tell anybody. Fifteen minutes later, the whole class had the answers written on the everybody’s palms. We needed to plan an strategy, so we all decided that we would write some of the answers incorrectly so the teacher wouldn’t suspect that we were cheating.

By the time we arrived to the classroom, and received the exam we realized that it wasn’t the exam we were supposed to have. The teacher had changed it! Of course, a lot of us failed the exam because we wouldn’t know how to answer it.

Finally, the next day, when the teacher brought our exam results he scolded us because he said that he knew that one exam was missing, and he figured out who was the person who stole it. So we learned the lesson, we failed, the classmate who stole the exam was expelled and I had to learn mathematics. What about you? Share an anecdote here about exams. 

Hi everybody again. I’ll try to answer some questions, all are very interesting.

Well, I’ll start telling you that on Saturday was a one day very busy for me. In the morning I was with my classmates to Plazuelas, it’s an archeological area, it’s in Pénjamo. I invite you to visit it; it’s very interesting, beautiful.

Now, I’m going to answer the questions.

First, I like my English class because I’ve learned so much; principally I feel that I speak better than before. I hope to write better also.

I really love my major but, I don’t like all subjects. I have many favorites subjects:   Cultural Heritage because I love the history and the culture and in these subjects all the time we talk about them. Other subject is Travel Agencies I because I want to set up a Travel Agency specialized in the cultural topics about Guanajuato State. Now you can understand because these subjects are my favourites.

About studying and working I think it’s difficult because to have two duties is complicated. The last semester I was working and studying. I was studying from Monday to Friday and I was working from Friday to Sunday. I really was finishing very tired, although, I have to admit that I learned so much.

I’m going to continue, my busiest day is Wednesday, maybe you’ve can to see it. I haven’t gone to Wednesday class. This day I have a subject, Recreation and Entertainment, and we normally have to go out the school. Sometimes we’ve finished the activities after at 4:00 p.m., for this sometimes I don’t go to class.

Let me be honest with you and tell you that I was being afraid that you wouldn’t post anything here, but now I’ve seen progress and makes me feel very proud of you my dear students.

It is raining outside, these days weather is been very weird, I mean, it’s cold in the mornings, hot in the afternoons, and rains at night. The only bad thing about it is that I’m going to miss the moon eclipse that is going to happen tonight.

Anyway, I enjoy all kinds of weather, but definitively I prefer cold weather. Why? Just because I can wear a lot of sweaters or jackets and I’m going to be ok. I am thinking right now on preparing a hot cup of chocolate and getting myself into bed, because and hopefully watch a good TV show, like for instance today it is Tuesday and Desperate Housewives will be showing. Can you picture this? It’s raining outside, drinking your favorite TV show in bed while having your favorite drink.

Ok, now you let me now about your favorite weather, what do you like to do when it is raining, favorite hot drink, favorite TV show, etcetera. I really enjoy reading your posts and comments.

Hi to everybody. My name is Arturo Israel Guerra Muñoz. You can call me Israel. I am 21 years old and I am from Leon. I am studying Accounting and a like the soccer (playing and watching), watch movies (all types) and listen to music (pop and rock). My favorite soccer team is Leon and I don´t care that it is in second division. I like watch the english soccer because in England are very good teams (like Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal or Chelsea) and the players are very professionals and with many quality and for that there are good games. I would like follow talking but is a little later and I will have exam at 8 am andI need to study a little more. So I see you in English class.

Let me tell how i survive to the ouija.

I dont believe in any religión so ghosts and gravetales really idont care but my experience made me ask my self is it true? Is something out there?

In highschool i met a guys really old friends just i had time of dont see it and others were new friends. Some day a friend of mine said me you wanna play with us and like is normal ask to him what we gonna play, he said dont worry just keep it in silence. Later that day at the school, my friend take out from his bag a ouija inmediatily a lauhgt about it i dont believe in this stuffs but he said me if you make a jog again you get out of here ok i said.  We close the basketball field i was skeptic but same time excited, first we sit around of the ouija all of them were seriosly very seriosly a guy startd to ask is any body there and wanna play with us and suddenly…..

Well, i have 24 years old and i like english but i like more listening music i felt sleep with my earphones. Hi there guys and girls, welcome to our blog. I’ve decided to create this blog while I’m having a capuccino here at Cafe Tal, which is a coffee shop downtown in Guanajuato. I really like to come to this place because the coffee they serve here is really good, and also I like to find some of my friends hanging around here, and I can also surf the internet and read blogs like this one.

This blog was created for you, so you can express your feelings, ideas, comments, findings, thoughts, etcetera. I want to see you people writing at least once a week, so you can practice your writing. Feel free to write without worrying about how good or bad you write in English, the idea is to offer you a space where you can do exactly that: WRITING in English.

I’ll start by saying my name, I’m Jesús G. Flores, and besides teaching I love to listen to music, I am constantly listening to new albums by lots of bands that I like. I enjoy to listen to electronic music, my favorite bands are Zero 7, Daft Punk, Justice, CSS, and my favorite rock artists are Fito Páez, Charly García, and Café Tacvba. Talking about movies I really enjoy to watch Science Fiction films, and I also enjoy to surf the internet, I spend a lot of time doing it everyday, I am a computer addict.

My capuccino is over by now, so it means that I have to go home and prepare my class for tomorrow. See you in class, and I wait for your first post.
